Frequently asked questions
Does RevailLab actually detect AI-generated music?
Yes — with caveats we’re transparent about. For links from platforms that only host AI music (Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs, AIVA, Soundraw, Mubert, Boomy, Loudly, Beatoven), our verdict is 100% certain. For Apple Music links and mic scans, we return a best guess from an audio model — treat the score as a hint, not a verdict. We’re actively training a music-native detector that will ship in a future update.
Does the app store my songs?
No. Audio you submit is analysed in memory by our backend and discarded immediately. Your scan history lives only on your phone. See the privacy policy for full detail.
Why do I see ads?
The app is free. Ads pay for the backend, training compute, and the bills that keep RevailLab live. Free-tier users get 5 scans per day before we show an interstitial ad; there’s also an optional “Support development” button that plays a rewarded ad — always voluntary, never gates a feature.
Why does the app ask for App Tracking Transparency?
On iOS, ATT is required before any advertising SDK can access your device identifier. Declining ATT means you still get ads, just non-personalized ones — nothing else in the app changes.
How do I delete my data?
There’s nothing to delete server-side. To wipe local data: either tap “Clear history” inside the History screen, or uninstall the app — both erase everything. You can revoke ATT and UMP consent in device Settings at any time.
